Vanteen Catering works from a custom built commercial quality food van converted from a vintage 1978 - 19ft caravan. We love using our food van but we need your help to ensure there's enough space - we are 6m long and require 3m wide x 3m high clear access on firm ground (all that lovely food is mighty heavy) we also prefer to have access to 2x general power outlets reserved solely for Vanteen's use within 20m of where we will be parked. As much as we love our big van, we pride ourselves on being flexible in all aspects of our business. If access is not available for the van we are able to use on site kitchens to prepare your evenings catering.
Our knowledgeable chef Woody loves tailoring menus to ensure 100% satisfaction. We can tailor menus to suit any dietary requirements including allergies and or restrictions. Please contact our friendly Events Co-ordinator Bec so we can discuss your event in detail and provide suggestions on menu items and quote you accordingly. We don't charge extra for this personalised service - it's just what we love to do!
As we are a family owned and operated business, a minimum spend of $1000 is required for all bookings. Your event date will be secured and no other bookings will be taken once we receive a 20% deposit.
It's so great meeting new people and we especially like to meet our lovely clients before we cater your event. The perfect time would be your venue inspections which we strongly suggest is taken out at least 1 month before your event. We suggest the inspection is carried out to confirm access will be granted as well as confirming details on placement of our van as well as specifics on other specialty items we discuss for your catering.
Our professional team of service staff are charged at a rate of $160ea which entitles you to 4 hours of service. Charges apply for additional hours.
We have a range of traditional tableware to compliment your events' theme, we also have traditional white cloth napkins and silverware available for use with your catering. We can upgrade selected dining packages to use these items with additional fees.
We operate from the Noosa Shire with a tailored Food Safety Program in conjunction with QLD Health. Our kitchen staff are extensively trained in food safety practices and are always under the watchful eye of our 2 Food Safety Supervisors. We hold all licensing, public liability insurance and work cover requirements to ensure your catering service is safe and professional. Our service team hold all relevant RSA qualifications and are again trained in best food safety practices.
